Shanti Yoga hires experts in their field. We work with qualified individuals to train the next generation of yoga teachers. Our teachers have deep knowledge in their subject area. This provides students with a well-rounded education. Finally, we ensure our teachers operate with integrity and adhere to the strictest moral standards.
Tristan has been practicing yoga since 2012 and teaching since 2016.
After working in corporate America for ten years he started a journey of self-discovery. This led him to yoga, healing, and service. He is certified in the classical Sivananda yoga lineage and in yoga therapy. He taught yoga by donation in USA, Mexico, El Salvador, and India.
In 2017 he went to India to deepen his personal yoga practice. He used this time to study classic texts such as the Bhagavad Gita and Light on Life by Iyengar, among others. He was also given the opportunity to teach students in Mumbai, Jaipur, and Om Beach.
His teaching style blends classical and modern yoga. When he is not teaching Sivananda’s “perfect practice” class, he teaches Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin, and Restorative. He often custom-tailors each class based on the unique blend of attendees. He takes the time to get to know each student. Everybody gets something valuable out of his classes.
He believes in helping people identify their true values. He believes in living a more authentic life. He wants to share what he found. He started Shanti Yoga for these reasons.
Nireas surrendered to yoga after a journey of self-awareness in India.
Nireas teaches Integral Yoga – an experiential system that combines self-development with spiritual fulfillment. He also has training in the following yoga disciplines: Sivananda, Yogendra, and Iyengar, among others.
His curiosity, his love of learning, and his passion for sharing compel him to teach.
Nireas has been teaching yoga since 2011. He has been with Shanti Yoga since 2018.
Heather has been practicing yoga for over 10 years.
She grew up in the United States and owned a bar in Georgia. To counter the nightowl lifestyle she turned to yoga. It helped, but eventually Heather decided to make a change.
After selling most of her possessions and putting the rest in storage she booked a one-way ticket abroad. She’s been traveling ever since.
Heather earned her first yoga teacher training certificate in 2016. Since then she’s been teaching, learning, traveling, and exploring.
Her teaching style is smooth and relaxed, yet empowering and strengthening. Don’t let her soothing voice fool you. She’s a warrior-ess.
